Faulty

I have fitted this to my console and when after putting everything back together I plugged in the power waited a second and started it up.

The same thing happened, started for 1 second and it switched off.

Spoke with the store owner who called me and he as advised it more could be something else rather then the power supply. Possibly the chip itself.

I am gonna return the power supply as I believe there is nothing wrong with my original for a refund.

I will send it into a repair shop for confirmation of the issue and see if it will be worth fixing.

I found 1 and the store owner recommended another. As the latter advises £199 for a hard drive issue, but does offer a free estimate, again there prices for finding and fixing said issue is more then my Xbox one X worth. Compared to other repair shops that also offer 2 year warranty on there repair I will go with the one I found online as there quote was below this and also includes the first fix.

Thank you and will if I need parts for my new console will come here 1st as they prices are better competitive wise.

Xbox X is Back

While watching a movie on Xbox X it exploded and hissed and turned itself of.... A blown capacitor in the PSU at fault. Installed this replacemebt PSU and all is good again, delighted, no longer a £300 door stop! The PSU was delivered next day before 1pm as requested on checkout, perfect service, thank!
