Carriage Destinations and Insurance

Standard UK postage is by the Royal Mail postal service delivery normally in 1-3 working days, which includes insurance up to a maximum value of £36.00. Northern Ireland, UK Highlands and Islands will not incur additional costs but may be a slower service than stated.

1st Class 'Signed For' postage by the Royal Mail delivery is normally received in 1-2 working days, which includes insurance up to a maximum value of £36.00. Northern Ireland, UK Highlands and Islands will not incur additional costs but may be a slower service than stated.

Tracked 24 delivery is available in the UK by the Royal Mail, this is a fully tracked premium 1-2 working day delivery service.

Deliveries to Europe will be dispatched by 1st class Airmail insurance included up to a maximum of £36.00. Also available is the Royal Mail “International Signed For” service. A tracking number will be supplied and insurance is also included up to a maximum of £36.00.

For lost or damaged goods in transit: - We will always assist with insurance claims and will replace/refund once the carrier confirms the claim is valid. Post Office insurance claims can take 4-6 weeks to complete - please be patient.

All your sensitive details are protected by 128 bit SSL protection.

We only use the information you give us to process your order and provide a quick and convenient service to you.

For us to process your order we need to know your name, e-mail address, and delivery address. ConsoleParts4U uses PayPal/Stripe to collect your credit and debit card numbers and expiry dates. PayPal’s/Stripe websites have their own privacy policy in place which you should take time to read. ConsoleParts4U does not have access to your card information.

Who has access to the information we collect?

We do not sell mailing lists to other companies or divulge any of your personal details to other companies or individuals, unless it is to comply with legal requirement.

How is your information kept secure?

When you type in credit card information to the PayPal/Stripe websites, their secure server ensures all details are encrypted at your browser before they are sent to them. While your order is being processed we store your personal details on the EKM Systems Ltd secure encrypted server.

Legal Disclaimer

In many countries it is legal to install and use an electronic upgrade in your personal game console. However, the copying of games is illegal in many, if not all, countries. Some countries laws do not allow you to use backups, even if you own the original. It is the responsibility of the customer to check your own countries laws and respect them. If you have a right to make backups, this means that you have bought the original licence to use this game. ConsoleParts4U nor any other associated companies condone the illegal copying and, or distribution of computer software for game consoles or any other format. You must act accordingly to the laws of your country. Respect the laws, respect the gaming industry and use our products accordingly in its original state.
The intended purpose of an electronic device product is to allow you to use your games console to play homebrew software, third party software, imports and backups of software you legally own or have developed yourself for preservation, maintenance and servicing purposes which are allowed by the law.

Although ConsoleParts4U provide detailed installation instructions with most parts, if you find you are having difficulties during installation please contact us by e-mail on info@consoleparts4u.co.uk giving as much detail as possible about the problem you are having.

We will reply to you as quickly as possible and provide the technical help you require.

Refunds & Returns

To return an item to ConsoleParts4U, please send an email to info@consoleparts4u.co.uk  for a return’s authorization. Please indicate the item you are returning, the reason for your return and order number in the email. We will then issue you with a Goods Return Number (GRN).

Once you have received confirmation from us to return your item, simply return it back to us, including the invoice with your GRN. Please include a description of why the product has been returned.
Items must be returned in the condition they were received, please re-use original packaging or similar if available. Please note we may have to levy a 10% handling charge to cover checking, testing and re-packaging of the returns.

We will replace a faulty product with the same item or refund your money back to your PayPal account if the product is no longer available. Please note that our return’s policy is only valid for 28 days from receipt of goods.

When we have safely received a returned item and it can be returned to stock we will instigate a refund for you. 

You may return an unopened remorse purchase to us within seven days of receiving it for a refund. We will refund your payment once we have received and processed the item. Please allow up to 14 days. Please note that we do not refund postage cost paid during purchase.

Unfortunately, we cannot exchange products unless they are faulty or you have been sent the wrong item in error.

All lasers and internal console parts are security marked, due to dishonest customers returning their faulty broken parts for refund, please don’t waste our time or yours!

We do test every single return. If a returned product is found not to be faulty we will return the product to you after additional P&P costs have been paid. We advise you to check the product thoroughly before returning.
